Thank heavens for Caro! It is such a delight to be able to write this testimonial for Caro. Caro has been our (the Waikato Breast Cancer Research Trust) indefatigable supporter since our early days!!! In 2004 she was responsible for over half of the ticket sales for our inaugural fundraising Bejewelled Bra Ball. Caro’s success is testimony to her networking and interpersonal skills. Since then, she has never stopped with record sales for subsequent balls, securing incredible auction items, organising her own fundraising lunches, dinners and more. Caro’s energy and passion have just been boundless.
In 2016 we were delighted when Caro accepted a WBCRT Trustee position. Caro’s business acumen and advice have been invaluable for the governance of the WBCRT and she is a reliable and dependable tower of strength. Our branding includes the wording “never let it rest”, which describes Caro’s ongoing commitment to breast cancer research to a tee.
