Caro Gatley Principal of Caro & Co Insurance Specialists.

Caro has spent 30 years in the insurance industry, and is now in her twelfth year of private practice.
She is one of the prestigious top 5 percent of business advisers in New Zealand.
Caro prides herself on her integrity and work ethic, her passion and dedication to her clients.
As a Registered Financial Adviser, professional development is vitally important to Caro. She participates regularly in courses provided by various insurance companies covering topics including ACC regulations, compliance Acts, legal Acts, accountancy financial statements, roles of directors and Government legislation.
Memberships include Million Dollar Round Table – a strategic planning and mentoring organisation – and the New Zealand Financial Advisers Association (NZFAA).

Raewyn Sporle

Raewyn is a Hamilton barrister and solicitor who has been practising law for more than 20 years. She has a background in psychology and counselling, and her fields of expertise include any legal issues including wills, power of attorney documentation, all aspects of family law, criminal and employment law.

Ben Ruthe
Commercial and fire and general insurance specialist
Ben started in the industry nine years ago as an insurance underwriter working for New Zealand’s foremost liability insurer. Having worked in commercial, corporate property and property claims departments, Ben then specialised in liability underwriting prior to becoming a broker.
His qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce and a Diploma of Financial Services (general insurance).
Ben can manage and advise on all aspects of fire and general insurance and has worked with exporters, manufacturers, lawyers, accountants and retailers of all types. Ben is actively involved in the community and industry bodies including Advisornet and ANZIIF.

Rochelle Old
Rochelle has been practice manager for Caro & Co since October 2015. For the 13 years prior to that she worked in the insurance industry, first as a personal assistant, growing in the industry to become a client adviser before deciding she would like to work behind the scenes.
She enjoys and knows well the risk insurance world, and is a registered financial adviser who is qualified to capably assist clients when Caro is not able to. Her job varies from processing applications, to claims and anything and everything in between. She lives in Te Awamutu with her family which includes three children.
